Anthony Gomes
$10.00, $16.00
Click for more information ↓
"A very talented guitarist... and where did that voice come from?" – says B.B. King. Anthony Gomes, #1 Billboard Blues Artist, is a triple threat force as a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. This, along with his high-energy shows and dynamic stage presence, make him one of the top draws on the Rock/Blues circuit today. Gomes' new record Peace, Love & Loud Guitars, named Best Blues Album of 2018 by Blues Rock Review and SoundGuardian Magazine, is the culmination of a life spent honoring Blues traditions while never losing sight of his own identity. The Toronto born guitar slinger stands his ground as a creative artist and is eager to push the Blues back into the mainstream. He has performed with the likes of B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Plant, Heart, Sammy Hagar, Joe Bonamassa, .38 Special, Jonny Lang, Robert Cray and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Gomes recalled a conversation he had years ago with one of those legends. “B.B. King told me the Blues are like the laws of the land. They need to be amended to the times we live in,” Gomes said. “As an artist, it's very exciting to think that the Blues can be just as ground-breaking today as it ever was."

Eric Gales
$15.00, $30.00, $38.00, $45.00
Click for more information ↓
Eric Gales is an American blues-rock guitarist, originally hailed as a child prodigy. As of 2018 Gales has recorded seventeen albums for major record labels and has done session and tribute work. He has also contributed vocals on several records by the Memphis rap groups Prophet Posse and Three 6 Mafia under the name Lil E. Gales picked up the guitar at age four and was playing in blues competitions by the age of 10. Although Gales plays a right-handed guitar "upside-down" (with the bass E string on the bottom), he is not naturally left-handed; he was taught by his brother, who is left-handed, and never second-guessed the untraditional technique. This will be an all-seating show with the exception of bar and overflow areas only.

Come join Grant and his longtime sidekick, bassist Erik Alvar as they preview selections from Grant's upcoming new album, to be released early in 2020. A self-described “tree-hugger that watches NASCAR, and Buddhist with a gun below the seat,” Grant Peeples is known for his axe-sharp socio-political tunes, raucous humor and heart-gigging ballads. Grant tours coast to coast, and is a regular performer at The Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, the 30A Songwriters Festival, and The Florida, Folk Festival. January 2019 marked a second tour in The Netherlands, where FolkForum.nl described him “…a pure storyteller, in the best American folk tradition…” and his show “…one of those gems that you will remember for a long time…” From traditional to modern and from bluegrass to jazz, classical, and beyond Erik Alvar has studied and performed with some of the most revered musicians in their respected genres. After earning a master's degree from the University of Florida, where he was fully funded working as a jazz graduate assistant, Alvar made the move to Brooklyn, NY where he is swiftly finding his way into the local music scene. He has worked with bands such as Billy Strings, the Jim Hurst Trio, and Rebecca Frazier. While there he also performed on the second national tour of A Christmas Story, a Musical out of New York City along with other theater productions such as Hank and My Honky Tonk Heroes and Classic Nashville Roadshow.
